Curators
- Zoé Meckbach, Polkadot Head Ambassador of Events
- Mark Ryan, Polkadot Head Ambassador of Events
- Elodie Dincuff, Community Manager at Web3 Foundation
The 3 bounty curators (e-)met on a weekly basis to review the proposals. Every week, they had to communicate with proposers, ask for more information along with add and award child bounties.
Bounty Curators Fee
Following the curators fee in the curator proposal:
Cat 1 & 2: 70 USD per curator
Cat 3: 200 USD per curator
Between September and December 2022, the bounty has funded:
- 15 meetup proposals (cat 1 & 2)
- 13 extraordinary event proposals (cat 3)
For September - December 2022. Each curator will receive 3650 USD. Note that the W3F curator does not receive any payment.
Moving forward
- Last-minute submitted proposals are too numerous. Future proposers need to submit their proposals at least one month before their event. Ideally the day of the event is not fixed before they get the funding, except if they have another way to find the budget, as the funding is not always guaranteed.
- We’re working on future implementations to have more curators for child bounties, make the process of fundings certain events easier, and refund Polkadot Meetup costs. More information will be shared soon.
