Polkadot Guest Content Guidelines

Welcome! We’re excited to feature voices from across the Polkadot ecosystem and beyond. Please review the following guidelines to ensure your post is a great fit for our audience.

Content types we’re looking for

We especially welcome thought leadership, but also publish a range of content styles that help move the ecosystem forward:

Content Guidelines

1. Deliver value

Prioritize content that educates, informs, or sparks new thinking. Share insights, analysis, or unique perspectives that help the Polkadot community and broader audience understand or engage with the ecosystem in a meaningful way. You have great insight into Polkadot and its features!

2. Create for the audience

Write with Polkadot’s core audiences in mind: developers, end users, and founders. Address real challenges, answer key questions, and offer actionable takeaways. Use clear, accessible language that helps readers gain a new perspective or deeper understanding of the topic.

3. Limit self-promotion

Let your expertise shine through the content itself, not through overt self-promotion. Focus on sharing knowledge rather than pitching your project. If you mention your work, make sure it genuinely adds value or context.

Avoid referring to yourself or your project in the main article unless it’s directly relevant to the topic. Reserve personal details and project highlights for your author bio.

4. Credibility with evidence and examples

Strengthen your arguments with data, examples, or references from reputable third-party sources. Citing studies or real-world cases adds authority to your post and benefits the community with trustworthy, actionable information.
