Distractive’s Polkadot Co-Marketing Guidelines

The Polkadot community is dedicated to cultivating the ecosystem’s growth by supporting pioneering developers and welcoming new users. Our collective focus is to advance technological innovation and broaden use cases to enrich the network’s ecosystem.

**These guidelines have been crafted to maximize clarity and impact in our collaborative marketing efforts. Adhering to them will help ensure the timely and successful promotion of your project within the Polkadot ecosystem and beyond.

  1. Advance Notification:

  2. Activation Requirement. Co-marketing support is generally available once your project is deployed on either Kusama or Polkadot. This milestone signifies your project's readiness and allows us to explore co-marketing opportunities together. However, we can work with you in a planning capacity even before your launch date to discuss potential strategies. While confidentiality prevents us from sharing information publicly until your project goes live, we can still collaborate on developing a co-marketing approach that aligns with your goals.

Co-marketed announcements should emphasize your project's unique technological contributions and potential impacts on the ecosystem.

  3. Collaboration Language. When discussing your relationship with the Polkadot ecosystem, avoid using terms like “partner” or “partnership.” Instead, frame your project as “building on Polkadot” or “integrating with the Polkadot ecosystem.”

  4. Guidelines for Content.

✅ Provide comprehensive updates, including links to GitHub repositories or documentation.
